DELECTABLE CHEESEBALLS

Ingredients:
2 Delectable Addictions Dip Mixes
3 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups chopped nuts

Directions:
This recipe from Roselyne Carter uses hand crafted gourmet dip mixes from Delectable Addictions. It can be used with any of the twelve dip mixes, but we are partial to the Roasted Garlic Dip Mix or the Bacon Cheddar Chive Dip Mix.

Blend together three 8 ounce packages of cream cheese (at room temperature), two packages of your favorite Delectable Addictions gourmet dip mix, 1 cup of mayonnaise, 1 cup of cottage cheese, and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Divide into three equal portions and form into round balls. Roll the balls in your favorite chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or slivered almonds). Seal in plastic wrap and chill overnight (this allows the spices from the dip mix to infuse into the cheese). Remove the plastic wrap and let warm for about an hour before serving.
Serve with crackers, chips, or toasted artisan bread. It is best to slice the cheese ball with a knife and spread rather that dipping directly into the cheeseball.
