Delectable Addictions, LLC was founded by Alice Sessions in the early 1980's using recipes handed down from her grandmother, Amy Casto, and aunt, Carla Jensen. Amy and Carla used these recipes for years in their popular catering services in the Salt Lake City area. Alice converted many of these recipes into prepackaged food mixes and sold them through local boutiques and craft fairs.
Alice had a simple philosophy in creating these products: use only the finest ingredients, avoid any harmful chemicals like monosodium glutamate (MSG), and hand craft each mix in small batches to maintain freshness. These delightfully unique gourmet food mixes rapidly gained popularity along the Wasatch Front and soon spread throughout the entire country.
After Alice passed away unexpectedly in 1997, her sister, Roselyne Carter, carried on the family business. Over the years, Roselyne has maintained many of the original best sellers and also added many of her own creations to enhance the overall product offering. Each product is identified as either "Rose’s Original" or "Alice’s Original" to honor the talent of her late sister.
Delectable Addictions gourmet food mixes can now be found in many craft stores, gift shops, and seasonal boutiques across the United States and online.
